For the second year running, Havaianas were
a proud sponsor of the 2018 Havaianas NSW Grommet State Titles! Over the
weekend, we saw NSW’s best under 14 and under 12 year old surfers compete to
claim the top title and a spot in the Havaianas NSW team for the upcoming
Australia Junior Surfing Titles.
At Maroubra Beach (Sydney, NSW) the three day
event was action packed with surfing, sun and fun!
A huge congratulations to Dane Henry, California Barrett, Fletcher Kelleher, and Quincy Symonds who were crowned the winners for
their divisions on Sunday!
Dane Henry (Fingal Head) took out the under
14 boys division final
California Barrett (Barnora Point) took out
the under 14 girls division final
Fletcher Kelleher (Freshwater) took out the
under 12 boys division final
Quincy Symonds (Tweed Heads) took out the
under 12 girls division final
As well as the tournament, we provided a
bunch of beach side fun; including Havaianas thong board expression sessions,
games on the sand, a thong toss challenge, an Instagram competition with a
year’s supply of Havaianas up for grabs, and a free Caricature artist!
Here are some of our favourite moments from the weekend…
A big thanks to Surfing NSW, the
competitors, families and spectators for a legendary, fun-filled weekend!
