Sunday May 16 We collaborated with Australian artist, Cj Hendry ahead of her “STRAYA” exhibition in Brisbane this weekend (21 – 23 May). Going where the art goes, Cj Hendry and her team embarked on a cross country road trip documenting the iconic landscapes and destinations that Australia has to offer. We jumped at the opportunity to become an official partner of the road trip as Cj Hendry embraces the Australian spirit through a tongue in cheek sense of humour. Paying homage to Aussie slang used down under, together with Cj Hendry we installed a street sign on Noosa Main Beach yesterday bearing commonly used wording “PLUGGERS” (the equivalent of “thongs, or flip flops”). To celebrate we gifted 500 exclusive pairs of Top White Havaianas that feature an exclusive “STRAYA” pin embellishment designed by Cj Hendry . Check out some of our favourite moments from the event… For those who weren’t lucky enough to see the “PLUGGERS” sign over the weekend, this will now be on ...
Did you guess who was behind the Rainbow at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Icebergs pool? It was us! In partnership with Minus18 , we are celebrating Pride this Valentine’s Day with a physical display of love for the LGBTQIA+ community by transforming Sydney’s iconic Icebergs Pool into a 50 metre, eight stripe, rainbow flag. Each stripe of the Pride rainbow showcased in the Bondi Icebergs pool represents values within the LGBTQIA+ community and celebrates the queer spectrum. We have chosen to honour the original flag of the LGBTQIA+ movement as this aligns with our first Pride collection , which is exclusively available Havaianas Bondi Beach & Manly stores as well as our online store. WALK A MILE FOR LOVE To walk in someone else's shoes means before judging someone, you understand their experiences, thought process and challenges. To coincide with the rainbow pool at Bondi Icebergs and share the love in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, we are asking each and every one of...

Did you guess who was behind the sunglass wearing, thong toting, red king prawns on one of Sydney’s most iconic surf clubs, Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC)? It was us! As a long-time supporter of Surf Life Saving clubs in Australia , we’re now getting behind Tamarama this summer to push the Club’s fundraising for their redevelopment project. Founded in 1906, The Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club has been an invaluable resource to the community for over 110 years. The redevelopment will deliver building upgrades that will significantly benefit life saving operations as well as future community education and inclusion programs. Havaianas is pleased to donate $25,000 towards the transformation of Tamarama's iconic clubhouse into a state-of-the-art lifesaving education and training centre. It took us 130 litres of paint (generously donated by our friends at Dulux!) and 60-man hours to paint this marvellous summer murlal, and it will take a similar commitment to r...
