Havaianas’ parent company, Alpargatas continues to take steps to help as much as they can and have united with partners and volunteers to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. Alpargatas have temporarily repurposed and adapted our factories back home in Brazil to manufacture protective equipment for healthcare professionals such as masks, safety glasses, shoes and scrubs. Havaianas will be donating 250 thousand masks to the public health services in the states of Paraiba, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil where our Havaianas factories are located. Health professionals of the University Hospital of Campina Grande have already received safety glasses, masks and protective jumpsuits.
